Code of Conduct

The core values of ISM Brewing are Family, Friends, and Fresh Beer which are essential to its daily operations and planned events.

We strive to build a space where everyone feels welcomed - for members of our team, our family, our friends, and anyone who walks through our doors (new friends). Everyone is welcome at ISM regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, ancestry, sex, gender, sexuality, gender identity, gender expression, economic status, faith, political ideology, age, military and veteran status, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, or any other protected characteristic. ISM celebrates diversity and recognizes that mutual respect between people who have all had different experiences helps to build a stronger community.

All of our employees, guests, vendors and contractors must be treated with respect and dignity.  We are committed to providing an atmosphere free of harassment and discrimination towards all people.

ISM Brewing will not tolerate harassment or discrimination directed at anyone in our space by employees, or third parties such as contractors, vendors, or guests.

Behaviors we will not tolerate:

  • Belittling

  • Verbal, physical, or written abuse or assault

  • Bullying, intimidation, or victimization

  • Discrimination

  • Harassment

  • Offensive Comments - e.g. sexist, homophobic, racist comments 

Reporting

If you believe you have been subject to or witnessed anything that violates this policy, please immediately report such conduct to a supervisor or manager at ISM Brewing.  If you are not comfortable reporting to any of those individuals please contact us via our website, call us anonymously, or email us directly at cheers@ism.beer.

Upon receiving a report we will promptly conduct a fair, timely, and thorough investigation. A timely response to each report will be provided when the investigation is complete. Every report of misconduct or harassment will be taken seriously and investigated thoroughly.

If we determine this policy has been violated, we will take appropriate and effective action to address the situation and deter any future inappropriate conduct; this may include disciplinary action, up to and including termination or expulsion.

Most importantly, we will not retaliate against you for bringing a good faith complaint under this policy, or for reporting such misconduct or cooperating in an investigation.  If you believe someone has violated this no-retaliation policy, you should immediately notify management.
